Who we are

Aggieland ATA was built for families who want more than an activity.

They want growth. Structure. And real change.

We serve families in the Bryan and College Station area through Songahm Taekwondo, a leadership-based system that develops confidence, discipline, respect, and accountability on and off the mat. Belts matter, but who a child becomes matters more.

Many families walk in unsure. They stay because they see their child changing.

Families choose Aggieland ATA for the level of instruction and the environment we create. Coach Josh is a World Champion and a nationally respected instructor, but what sets him apart is his ability to coach kids. He knows how to challenge students without breaking them, support them without lowering the standard, and help each child grow from exactly where they are.

We meet students where they are, and we take them seriously.

Younger students learn how to focus, listen, and control their bodies. Older students build confidence, emotional regulation, responsibility, and leadership. Parents often come to us when their child needs structure, direction, or confidence. They stay because they see steady, meaningful progress.

This is not a shortcut program.

We believe effort matters. We set high expectations and teach students how to work through discomfort, frustration, and challenge. At the same time, every student is supported, encouraged, and known. Through the Songahm Leadership program and consistent training, students gain skills that carry into school, home, and life.

At Aggieland ATA, Taekwondo is the vehicle.

The goal is confident, disciplined kids prepared for life.
